Also Sigma DP users - do you use Lighroom or are you finding that the Sigma Photo Pro software processes the photos better?

Thanks Ed - the software is still very slow.
Is the update available from the software itself or do you download from the Sigma PP website?

Cheers Ed - reformatted the other day with the new SSD so I'd imagine I've got that one.

I like the softer effect you get from vintage lenses, I have an old FD Canon, it's strange, when it's fully open it makes an interesting halo effect...

Really like this one, the people look tiny!

The pantheon was the absolute highlight for me. The scale of the building and the condition it's in (built 126 AD!) shocked me. Whilst inside a fine rain began to descend through the open vaulted roof, it was quite dramatic. Not religious but I was tempted for a brief moment.

Those Rome shots are great. Always wanted to go there just for the architecture really. And the food.
Took this on the way in this morning. Been temped to climb it but its always surrounded by dog turds.

What the hell has Flickr done to its layout? Is it still possible to 'customise' it?
-
• #3641
I can only assume it's a mistake.

Just had a look on the Flickr blog - page after page of fury and hatred for it.

You can click on Edit to get something closer to the old style Photostream layout - though without your sets down the side. So extra clicks to get where you want to go and less easy for people to browse your stuff. And, unless you go to Edit, you can't see which photos are private or public, so less quick to keep tabs on things. The black backgrounds are not popular either, though I like them. Well over a thousand comments now and hardly a one is positive.

Anyone got a NIkon D600? About to buy one but if you have experienced anything major flaw with it, I am all ears... I am aware of the dust / oil issue, but other than that, it seems a good camera.

Basically looks like google image search with a 'dark' theme now.
What the fuck. -

Just got email from Nikon. They have released a new firmware version for D300.
It is a pretty old camera. Not sure if it is awesome or just plain weird business policy.

Just got one for my 700. I assume it'll be something for all of them.

Is there a list of things it affects somewhere?
-

Probably. About to update now. I'm sure there will be, I'll post if I find.
