The official statement is since gone from rittes site but he was on the road forums talking about it around the same time. They share the rights to the frame with two other companies and he said they had some input on the model but it was designed by a taiwaneese engineer.
I'm not sure how much proprietary tech you can put into a frame nowadays that hasnt been done before or very close so with one of the best paintjobs in the business who cares if he makes dorras. It's a great first or second frame for people who care more about looks than efficient layups and weight.
