Yeah, I stayed late at work tonight, only just got in an hour ago. I left my cycling shoes in the lab and the cleaners set the alarm so I had to ride home in my socks (brakeless of course).
bighting the bars into a headwind in your socks on look pedals is not to be recommended.
Luckily the traffic was light and there are only a few descents and no need for emergency stoppage. After about 10miles it started to rain as well just to make matters worse.
All in all a pleasant evenings ride

Haha tht sounds like a tough ride I bet you managed to gain some funny looks. I nearly got wiped out by a coach in the lanes near me and span out trying to catch my mate on his road bike but I took him in the end 'competitive friendship' not sure if I like the kid.
