Where I'm from it stands for "M" for "La eMe" - the Mexican Mafia. Strangely the gang originated in US prisons in California, but you still saw it being done by affiliated gangs in Texas.

^^ jamie what style of wolf? most of the people i've been tattooed by have cracked out a few wolves but they're all fairly similar neo-trad...

i'm a big fan of sarah carter (above)'s grey work, i don't think she does much neo-trad any more. i can't say i dig her surrealism personally but i love the natural stuff. i managed to get this from her a few months ago:

Incidentally, the paw (lowest point) is the most painful place i have had tattooed.
