dhb (wiggle) are still the cheapest with a good pad (unless anyone knows better?). Then personally I like Santini around £70, but there's plenty of good choices from that price upwards.
Sizing is weird. Height matters. Try some if you can.
If you want L giordanas (with rubbish graphics but new/unused) I have one sent as a sample that's no use to me.

3 pairs of merino socks for £9.99?! Why the hell not (FYI, I'm a 8.5/9 and the S-M fit fine)

^ Because i've just blown my annual sock budget on a single pair of alpaca ones

^ Thanks for the link, tapped out right now, but will definitely keep in mind for the future.

^ Me? No probs. I think i came to have their site bookmarked because i saw them mentioned On Here.

Yah you, I made my first and last order with Corgi (wool and cotton mix) recently; almost impossible to get on and then they fall down and twist around my foot over the course of the day. Who can wear these?
-
• #664
That sounds bad. I hadn't heard of Corgi before. Refund?
No such problems with these alpaca ones. They arrived a couple of days ago - i'm testing their 'can be worn all week' claim.
-
• #665
The first socks I've ever run into that have virtually no stretch.
I'm across the ocean from Corgi, so even if refunded my mailing costs would wipe it out. -

Sorry if this has been talked about before but has anyone tried the on one super deluxe cardigan before? It's Going cheap.
http://www.planet-x-bikes.co.uk/i/q/CLOOSDMC/on_one_super_deluxe_merino_cardiganIs it worth spending the extra for their merino tech jersey?
-
• #667
Yep, I've got one of the super deluxe cardies. I like it - it's quite thin but good as a second layer in spring/autumn. The only problem I have with it is that it's quite short in length for me, but I've got a long back so it's hardly unique in that respect. The sizing's quite generous though - I'm normally a size large, but with the On One merino stuff I'm a medium.

... I've got a long back...

Strong look, and I suspect they'd fit me perfectly. I'll take one of each.

• #670
Anyone have experience with them?
-
• #671
Only a very brief experience at the moment - Cycliste ordered one for herself, with her name embroidered across the front in case she forgets what she's called. It's nicely made and feels pretty comfortable for 30 seconds. I'll be able to give a more informed view shortly though - I've just ordered 7 (Hawthorne with embroidery front and rear) for me and my colleagues doing the LtB ride.

I order one with AUDAX UK written on it, if it's any good, will get one with LFGSS written on it.

I might go for "Thug 4 Life" and stuff dollar bills in the pockets... along with the fig rolls.

what happened to Orca? they seem to steadily disappear off the market.
I liked the designs, but never got around to buying anything from them.
-

Not definite about this. But i had a merino orca hoody which i loved.
I later bought a planet x merino hoody that when i recieved it was exactly the same as the orca one, possibly planet x bought them out/ they're making stuff for other people instead.
