It would be interesting to get the power meter on the BMC, not that that will happen.
One other thing I noticed actually which you've just reminded me of- the BMC is BB86, which has a noticeably detrimental affect on chainline when compared to BB30 when in the larger half of the cassette and in the big ring- obviously not a combination that a steely eyed racer would ever find themselves in etc etc.
