Tnrc 2013

Jinx!

I have done something very funny to my right knee. Mostly it hurts when going down stairs (not a euphemism). I've checked the route carefully and verified it has no stairs of significance, so I'm hopeful of riding but I will be slow, I'll certainly whinge and moan throughout and I may truncate the route and head to the pub early.

Reading that back, it sounds pretty much normal for me anyway.

I may come tonight, if I do I will be riding out. at what time do we have to be in Chingford?

Long time no see on a tnrc - would be good to see you out there if you can make it.

Gutted but I have to miss out on this. Know it's going to be a lovely ride.

Fuck growing old.
I'm going out for a few miles now to see how it feels.
May wet the bed.

ibuprofen is a hell of a drug.

Potentially in for this. Will have to see how I feel at the end of the working day. Would be getting the train out.

Ok, got a last minute chance to come on this. Will be geared and even slower than ever before. Literally have not ridden 30 miles since TNRC last year. at some point, I think.
