A top Sunday, following a route broken into two pieces. I particularly enjoyed the Pennines, coffee/cake/WC (I didn't need that plastic bag, after all) in Barnard Castle, the final leg from Hawick to Edinburgh, and any turn away from the westerly wind.
The Pennines were a bit grey.
