Cheers Eamesy! Thanks for the bottle cage, it looks real pretty, if I ever get hold of a decent camera again it'll be included in the next pictures.
Thanks Ed. Marathon Pluses are so expensive that I'd rather go without mudguards than get new tyres but maybe I'll just make sure that there's a good returns policy when I buy mudguards and be careful not to mark them.
