IG LONDON NOCTURNE 2013 - 8th JUNE
Night time criterium racing hits the streets of the City of London once again on Saturday 8th June as bikes of all shapes and sizes descend on Smithfield Market. A packed race programme will culminate in the Elite Women's Criterium and Norglide Elite Criterium featuring the cream of British and international talent.

And it's not just about the racing ... Food and drink stalls complement Smithfield's vast array of restaurants and pubs as the entertainment stretches into the evening, creating a free party like no other in the City. The IG London Nocturne is FREE to attend with the racing kicking off at 16:30

Just a warning, last time I went the pub on the corner was serving burgers, but they didn't have cheese, or even ketchup, so make sure to bring some just in case

Not only is there a skid comp, but also a track crit support race. Better get your entries in early though!

skid comp

can't see it. thought it wasn't happening this year, as only 5 people entered last year.

I prefer that they have the crit race over a skid comp. Skidz are so 2008 anyway.

I think Malaysian needs to come down if there's a skid comp.

^^ Thanks for the picture of hillbilly doing the skid contest I hope they up the anti on the contest this year last year co-coincided with the courier London Pride but they seem to have forgotten to invite them to the party so the skid contest hardly rated as a contest at all very boring.

True. More competitors would make for a far more interesting comp.

Well to be honest, if more people sign up and ask for the skid comp to be back they would probably do it again (similar issue with the women competition last year)

Have they actually ditched it? I thought it was still on the schedule?

^Would've thought so. Schwalbe usually sponsored the skid comp but this year they're sponsoring the track crit.
