I've had two good midweek rides in and around Boston, about 30-35 miles each- which isn't very far but I had to sneak them into a long lunchbreak.
Things I have discovered:
New York is very near to Boston:
There are a lot of Eurofighters at RAF Coningsby, and they keep you entertained pretty well.
The road to New York is the straightest road I have ever been on (see above for some idea of ridiculous straightness)
It is windy, always.
I would like some hills please.
And most importantly- there are almost no cars here, ever. Yesterday- after leaving the main roads I saw 5 cars. You have entire roads to play on, and it is incredible, and the road surfaces are really surprisingly good.
Also no cyclists- but I assume they have weekends to use, where as like the other Henry I don't get many weekends. Will investigate further, when I'm stuck here next weekend.
