Rode home in the S-Works MTB shoes today, having ridden in wearing my Dragon II's.
I fear that BMMF is correct- with the 44 S-Works I've got enough room for my toes, but the shoe is perfectly sized for my arch and heal.
With Sidi I need 45's to get enough space in the toebox, but they feel baggy elsewhere- 44's are perfect around the ball, bridge and heel, but don't have enough room for my toes.
Anyone want two pairs of size 45 Ergo II's? Both in great condition, one pair with a scratch on the toe?
I've the same situation. I've got sidi road and mtb shoes that are awesome, indestructible and I feel really fond of (we've been through a lot together). But... the relatively cheap Giro shoes I bought recently give more room in the toe, which I like. Now I wish I'd bought higher end Giros.
This is worse than buying a bike with EdwardZ around.
How much does it cost to amputate two small toes safely?
