I hardly ever have to stop on a roundabout when I use the segregated cycle lanes in the Netherlands, it's only peds that you need to let through and as the cycle lane is about 3 metres wide that's hardly an issue. Cars always have to give way on a roundabout to both cyclists and peds. Most vulnerable form of transports has the highest priority. I really fail to see why that's a mega fail.
