That was what the cobbler with whom I discussed my Sidi's said, also.
So- I went into Condor, they are selling their few remaining pairs of Sidi shoes and then stopping supplying them for good.
I am now the proud owner of a pair of these (they fit the best out of all the shoes there):
Size 44 fits perfectly.
