I am aware these are blooming economy countries, but ffs - its over 6k worth on that particular one, how is this justified? Really looking forwards to hmdns' reply.
There are alot of wealthy families in SE Asia. Rich kids get bought nice things. It's not just fixed gear, nice DH mountain bikes, nice kit, nice cars... Over there though there isn't a divide between rich and poor like there is here. I found wealthy kids and kids without money all socialise together, so I'm guessing there will be people riding unipacks alongside those riding mirrion $$$ sweet fixies.

Well, I've seen parents buy their kids fast cars, then pay for all the mods.... Cars cost a fortune in Asia. So if you think about it, track bikes are really quite a wholesome and affordable hobby in comparison.
