I acknowledge the answer to this is "go and try them on" before the usual suspects chime in.
With that said:
I've had a pair of Sidi Dragons for 4 years, during that time they have had two sets of replacement sole lugs, and now need another.
I would simply replace them, but- the size 44's that I have are ever so slightly too small.
I'm wondering whether to ask Condor to order in a pair of 44.5 or a 44 mega, so was wondering if people with any experience of this could help.
With the 44 the fit is perfect across the arch, length is spot on, but my second and third toes are slightly cramped.
I've got a pair of size 45 Ergo II's and whilst they are fine I always feel that they are very slightly too large around the arch/heel- however I have tried a pair of 44.5's and they were simply too small around the toes. The road shoes do come up smaller than the MTB shoes though in my experience.
So- question is, half a size up, or Mega?
