I just bought my first pair of running shoes. I was using these (which are CLEARLY unsuitable) to run with my GF, nothing major, just a few 3/4k runs. I loved it, and have noticed I'm sleeping better and I feel fitter on the bike. Bonus.
Only issue was he shoes, due to lack of support I was running solely on the balls of my feet. I've been having a few issues with the ankle/shin joint on my left leg - but only during/after running - so I'm hoping that getting some proper shoes (these) and going running with some slightly faster guys will increase my fitness overall and solve my leg pain problem. I've been converted.
