It's illegal to leave the scene of an accident, no?
V888 form find where he lives and rob him blind one day?
As I was driving a big red bus I had about 40 witnesses lol...
It is indeed illegal to leave the scene of a accident however the MET Police seem to think it isn't worth the effort pursuing such things :-(
If i'm honest it kinda goes out of my hands once I do the accident report and submit it to my Garage, I went straight to the police station at Edmonton as soon as it happened but honestly they couldn't really have cared less.. But then I was working in one of the less nicer places of North London and as such higher priority cases where most prob taking up man power??..
When I submitted the Reg number of the blokes car it came back as insured so I have no idea why he did a runner???..
As for the V888 form, not really my style I kinda just let karma do its thing, I am of course saying that as I was not out of pocket due to the incident..
From experience when you have a incident make sure you say your injured so that the police have to respond and attend the scene, if they do not get a driver who is to blame for a incident red handed then chances of a fair outcome for yourself as quite slim at best...
