Here's my Roberts Audax in blue & silver. Do have the original forks too which are lovely & I really should refit them but my spares were for threadless & I got a deal on the carbon forks.
One great feature is Roberts spaced the brake bridges to the absolute bottom of the long reach calipers so it can take 32mm tyres & still squeeze in mudguards. It has had a rack & panniers but looks nicer without them.
Bought this from someone off eBay & picked it up from him at Waterloo Station, it currently resides in Cardiff but it's done the occasional cross-London trek from Paddington down to Kingston.
This is my 2nd 2nd-hand Roberts, first was a pink Columbus SLX I bought in 1988 (!) & actually did some races on it. Wish I'd kept it, C-Record Delta & all!
Love to be able to get a new one one day but this will do for now.
