I am still waiting for more details and, if possible, pictures, but the Hackney Council building Netil House, on Bocking Street, has been burgled twice in the last week. More specifically, the garage and 'secure' bike parking area inside the garage. The bikes stolen include at least 2 Bromptons and several white hybrids which have Hackney Council on them in green writing. A couple of the hybrids will be without their front wheels as they were locked to those useless stands that clamp the front wheel.
These are all bikes that are used for cycle training in Hackney, of council employees and others. Please keep an eye out and bear in mind that council employees. Park Rangers and so on use these bikes so just because if you see someone who does not 'look like a cyclist' on one of them, they might be legit. Thanks.
