Shimano do cleat covers that make the trek from the car park to my desk and particularly stairs a piece of piss in SPD-SL.
Flipping between SPD-SL and ATAC the main difference I found was how much less stable Sidis felt with my foot always feeling like it was pronating off the side of the pedal.
