My rear wheel was built with DT Competition 2.0-1.8-2.0 a year ago, but with alloy nipples. The corrosion has weakened the nipples making them almost sacrificial. I've been replacing them with brass one by one and this week I had my first spoke break, on a brass nipple.
.
Alloy nipples don't work in this country, maybe they are OK on a race bike, or indoor track bike, or if you live in the desert. But in the UK for anything other than serious business they are a PITA unless you GT85 them every month without fail, and more often in winter.
Used to earn quite a bit of workshop money though rebuilding wheels that come on the higher end specialized bikes as they all use alloy nipples, and often used for commuting in scotland, in winter, with no maintenance = lots of nice relaxed £££ wheel builds for me on the sofa :)
