Not sure if this is the right place but I am looking to get some wheels to reasonable shape as they are horribly out of true, want to spend as little as possible. Cheapest way is to just replace the spokes as some cheap decent ones will only set me back about £18 inc. nipples.

^Rear rim is quite corroded but front is a nice shiny Mavic Ma2. Nipples are fucked and cannot budge so spokes will have to be cut and the wheel cannot be trued.
Is this a good route to take? I have no proper wheel building experience, no proper tools, no wheel stand (make do with forks and tight brakes). Should I get a shop to tension them after? Are the rims fucked and not worth bothering about?
Is this too much effort and should I just go down another path (cold set frame use modern wheels, get second hand decent 126mm etc.)
