  • Ground effects increase the lower the car is to the ground encouraging teams to run the car as low as possible, if the car touches the ground, the downforce suddenly stops and the car has a lot less grip that the driver expects. I can't see ground effects ever returning to F1.

    Parallel with the axle I don't really understand, how do you mean?

    Measuring the downforce/turbulance generated seems to be the only plausible step forward IMO.
