To be fair, no stripped hubs on your Brother Jake.
I've never stripped a hub because I am not a retard.
Also, the Vivalo actually got ridden lots :-)

Did you just says Tenner's a retard?
-
• #1055
STFU, Ed. No he didn't.
-
• #1056
Tenners didn't strip the hub did he, Ed?
So no, I wasn't calling him a retard.

I kind of want to turn up on Saturday - to see how blench all your thighs are.
Anyway - I have bigger thighs than Poof, his strength lies in his elephant calfs

Him and DJ both sport the signs of wealthy upbringings... The rugger bugger calves.
-

Oh and my thighs are bigger than sugoi and altura cater for... #firstworldproblems

^I tried on some Rapha 'city riding trousers' t'oth'day and they didn't fit over my thighs. Anyway big thigh thread>>>>>>>>

I have the same problem. I ain't even got big thighs... None of my jeans fit my waist and my thighs... It's one or t'other.
-
• #1063
Rapha jeans actually fit me really well. Pricey etc
Then again they are 34x30, meaning they're big enough for my thighs but short enough for my stubby lil' legs.

Rode this bike on the slide yesterday and really am in love with it.
Comfortable enough for most of the ride and I think I've found the perfect all round ratio.
Going out to get a few pics now.

Agree on the ratio, did look like it fitted you but you should change your bars, no? I saw you riding on the drops about once? Why not get some profile airwing T2's or something that isn't dangerously deep?
-
• #1073
I still like them, I just rode on the tops in the city/when we were going slow and after turners when it was horribly wet and windy.
I am thinking of going back to compact drops though.

i love deep drop bullhorns like those or cinelli tempos and the numerous others, offer some really good hand positions without needing to get right into the lowest part of the bars.
the bike is looking awesome dude, is it finished for now? -
• #1075
^Me too.
It's not finished yet becausethe hed isn't mine and I've stripped the rear hub.
Bars also aren't final yet but it is looking like I'll keep them.
When it's finished it will look pretty much exactly the same as that.
it will soften the metal and cause the threads to strip
