Hey fella, you've done nothing but bitch at me over the Thatcher thread and I've not bitten back (I think!). However, if you go to forum drinks at all let me know which, I'd be happy to meet you for a friendly pint. Typed words can often be misconstrued. Ta ah.

And her reply:

You've purposely gone out to troll-and admitted as much-and come across as a sanctimonius, condescending cunt. Me bitch at you? Take a look at your own posts. And why the fuck are you now trying to play the decent, moderate guy and dangling some kind of virtual olive branch as if that (again) gives you claim to some kind of moral superiority? I can happily accommodate alternative viewpoints, I can't accommodate people thinking they get to purse their lips and play the grandee for the sake of hearing their own voice-it's just morbid narcissism and all you are trying to do is get attention.

This is me saying no, I have no interest in meeting you for a friendly pint but I'm sure your phone is ringing off the hook so this won't trouble you.

Charming - what I was trying to do was heal a rift with someone who had clearly taken massive exception to my stance that Thatcher while now dead probably shouldn't have her grave danced on. However, uber_doofer if ever you feel like coming out from behind your keyboard there's a pint with your name on it. Can't say fairer than that.
