They're the same rims I've currently got in my possession, albeit not in the best of conditions.

I had the same, got some Arayas and they kept going well out of true... Fine for some I guess but I ride my bikes alot and on the shocking roads of Yorkshire, gave up on the Jap dream and got some open pros.

Yeah I do intend to ride this bike but it will be Sunday very best, my next project will be a lot more conservative and built to be ridden the shit out of on the streets of Manchester, hence not too headstrong on practicalities here.
