Spotting the Adnams above, I'm currently indulging in their Broadside Beer. It's fairly strong at 6ish% and is really tasty, they suggest it is good with a strong cheddar, so I've paired it with a pizza. Obviously.
Not very interestingly, an ex's father came from Southwold (Adnams' area) and raved about the beer. I once visited his old stomping ground and helped (almost singlehandedly, those lazy yokels) erected a fecking ginormous pub marquee. They paid me in booze, which was nice. I mainly drank port.
Oh, and similarly to snotty's tequila and mango juice combo, I've just polished off a bottle of Amarula, from South Africa, mainly by dousing it with strong coffee.
