Did the route of the Kentish Killer sportive this morning (albeit a bit different at the start) with Airtime Al from the forum.
Lunatic ironman in trainin Al was falling to bitrs with shin splints, a buggered knee and general overtraining. So the first 25 miles or so were a little start stop as the poor guy limped along, refusing to give up. Once the silly sod worked out that he needed to go home I kept going round the route and felt pretty ace all the way through, but the headwinds heading home were tough.
Saw a chap with a castelli (I think) beanie, sunglasses and black jersey twice around the Ashdown forest. I swear I've seen him about 3 weeks in a row - if you're on here, make y'sen known!
