Greetings to each and every one,
I had a little look at the route on the old A-Z last night and we're all in for a treat - give thanks to the organisers.
Re almacs 'i knows y'all excited about The London Classic, but less swearing on this thread please, it's a public forum.
TLC is one of the highlights of the year for sure, decorum reigns on here and on the route. 'I would just like to echo these sentiments. The London Classic is a nice day out and there will be plenty of children present. Please can you moderate your language on here and on the day.... It's not cool and it's unnecessary...
Peace and Love,
Tim -

Errr, I hate to be so stupid, but I am looking at the website and cannot find exactly where it is we are supposed to turn up.. it says "Like this; you turn up with your bike anytime from 8.30am on the 7th of April. " but does not say where/ Can anyone point me to the page with the basic information, where, when (well, got that one), what you are supposed to do when you get there, and so on?
Sorry for being dim.
EDIT: Checked the route, the Gypsy Hill Tavern would appear to be the start of the route... is that where we gather/register? And still, where is the page with the basic info?

This is not stupid as I did the same thing, the exact start point is not listed as a straight up-front fact. [I was needing to send it to a friend.]
I kinda gathered info from this thread and from the route pages and the emails which went out about it. But still, no single page I could send my friend. :( -

Did you not receive a confirmation email telling you where and when to come?

Greetings folks,
The Gipsy Hill Tavern is the start, finish and Paris Roubaix viewing venue for this one..... and as the Lovely TLC states all that was on the confirmation e-mail you should have received.
@ jonny - it will be lovely to see you out for this one.
Peace and Love always,

Yeah, I did. But I was did my usual thing, "thanks for the reminder, deleted now, I will go to the website for my details when I need them....." then finding that they were not there so clearly as I had hoped. Digging out the email does in fact reveal the information I need, although I had gathered as much from the route information and all that. Thanks.
Should I print out the route, or will a handy cheat sheet be issued on the day? In addition to all the arrows of course.

I have ongoing PC problems and can't print out registration forms etc. Is this going to be a prob, I guess I can sign in/fill out forms before the grand depart non?
-
• #691
You can email me them if youve completed them digitally/Ill bring a couple spares if you like?
-
• #692
I've written every turn on a long toilet roll which I've popped on my bars for a handy windable route sheet.

Them roller things they have at supermarket checkouts, which they wrap cheat sheets for the pastries and fruit around.

Legal disclaimer forms available at the start in paper form. Less hassle if they can be printed off and handed over however. Similarly if you'd like to make a donation its easier for us if you do it online before the day.

Everybody registered gets a route guide.
Cool, thanks. Even more excited now.

^^ great. Thought that would be the case. I'll have to donate in cash too I think.

TLC,
Er, one last question. My buddy is coming down from Walthamstow, and having to do the kids' breakfasts etc, so we'll be late. I see it says starting from 8.30am... in your experience, until what time is it OK to be setting off... you know, to not end up all on your own, to still be part of the thing.
