These Campag Steam gloves haven't let me down: never felt the cold and not got wet, although I haven't been caught in a prolonged downpour, I have been in heavy snow for a fair while.
No problems getting on or of either as the insides don't pull out; plenty of wrist protection too.
I bought XXXL as my long fingers normally get scrunched in the end of gloves and these are fine.
The only fly in the ointment (for you) is that they've gone up a fiver since I bough them at the beginning of February, bloody profiteering I say, although still worth it.
