I'd like to see Phinney in the final selection but I'm not sure how he would be able to get the better of Cancellara, barring mechanicals.

Anyone seen a weather forecast yet?

That's not quite what happened when Vansummeren won though, is it? Any team wanting to work out how to beat Cancellara should be watching the 2011 race again, and working out a plan accordingly.

See if you can bridge riders up to an existing break after the Arenberg? You need strength in depth and someone who can finish the job to play that game, which is why Vandenbergh came to mind. That and he is lanky, obviously.
