Went on a lead ride lead by Matteo Carrara from the Cadence Cycle mecca at the top of Crystal Palace.
A more friendly italian you could not hope to meet.. but worried by his limited english I first questioned him on his 'experience' of British roads to lead such a ride.
"well ive ridden the tour of britain twice"... this was good enough qualification for me and allowed him to continue leading the ride, only twice suggesting alternative/better routes around the hills of Kent.
Turns out rides his CV includes all three grand tours
Winner of the Tour of Luxembourg
10th in both the Milan - San Remo & Dauphine Libere
