It was nice to be back, even if I was nearly blind by the end of the session. I definitely need some glasses that don't just channel the wind straight into my eyes.
The pace was pretty good and I felt I was a bit better equipped to not get spat out of the back than at the end of last summer. Need to work on being right up there at the front at the end of those 30-lap cobweb clearers now.
