I think I'm going to go for some black microtex soft touch. It's half the price of the lizard skin, I prefer the look and it's served me well for years. Did I mention it's half the price?
yeah thats true, dsp are fucking expensive

And you'll be angry as fuck when you fly over the bars and do this.

If I did this on a seta I would probably just wrap it around with leccy tape anyway.

Ah man that sucks!
Last time me an OK123 were in the shop we were thinking how easily our bikes could get stolen.
Is there no CCTV in store?
I even said to the guy at the till that it must be great to work in a bike shop because you could always keep an eye on your bike!

Ordering one from Robert in the next month or so, how much do they cost now, painted + posted?

Yea thats the mash copy, size large. I paid £160 a few months ago, that included smooth welds, IHS & postage. Not sure how much Robert is chargng now.

Holzfeller cranks seem to fit with about 4-5mm of clearance on both sides (I'll have to ream and face the bb threads before installing, but looks good). The only thing that's really close is the chainring. I have a 32t on the outer position, and it looks like there'll be about 2-3mm of clearance.
Sounds great. I spec'd mine with 3mm of crank and chainring clearance.
It's interesting to see if they will do another fatbike so cheap with all the trouble they had.
Well having made one. The next should be easier. My builder had to make a shed load of new tools to build mine. So I hope they get plenty of fatbike orders.
Saw the MTBR thread. Sweet rim cut-outs. When the same rims come out in 32 hole 100mm wide I was tempted to buy a pair. Fancey drilling them for me ;)
