flask or no flask?

Just received the (Dear DAN W, congratulations! Are you one of the lucky ones that can enroll in L'Eroica on 6 October.) email and paid...Guess that means I'm in?!

I'm claiming stupidity from the outset (first time etc)...When do we find out (and what significance is) my bib no (edit - scratch that, didn't read the thread properly)? And how long do people normally stay for? Cheers!

I keep getting errors even though I filled out all fields in the form, how come?

Mine sailed through. used 0044 for phone number (UK obviously).

Mate had problems with Safari but switched to Firefox with instant results.

apparently, I had switched my name and surname in the pre-registration lottery data. thus, filling in the form correctly resulted in an error...

Yeah, won't really matter I'd say. Getting accommodation will be the tricky part. I missed out on affordable (for me) places in Gaoile so had to go to Radda. Hopefully it's nice. Anyone stay there before?

Tripadvisor is your best bet i think. You have a few options in terms of towns/villages. Radda and Castellina are close enough to Gaoile to be able to commute to and from for the market/race etc. There should still be some rooms in these towns although they are pretty expensive. The cheapest option though is to rent a house/villa close to one of these places and obviously works out well price wise if there's a few people going together.

Radda is great - much better served for food etc than Giaole. Also you get to warm up on the ride to the start
