Schumacher definitely would have done it, but he would never have been in the situation as he was always the de-facto no.1.
Senna would have scoffed at team orders and done anything to win.
Short sighted though, part of the arrangement within a team has got to be that you work together - you can pretty much guarantee that if you asked Webber "who do you want to win this year?" he's not going to say Vettel.
That's not great, given that he is meant to support Vettel for the rest of the season.
Last race of the season and Webber has to move aside to let Vettel take the win, and therefore the championship- is he going to keep his engine turned down and meekly move aside?
If they'd behaved with mutual respect all season then it's not even a question, right now I would think that Webbers attitude would be "fuck him, let him try to come past".
