Vettel did it because he wanted to and knew there would be no comeback. It was selfish, and showed a total lack of respect for Webber. Hakkinen would not have done that, Schumacher might, dunno about Senna.

Schumacher definitely would have done it, but he would never have been in the situation as he was always the de-facto no.1.
