I made reference earlier to a Maxim magazine test between the Fahg Mini and the OnGuard Brute - well the test was actually for a Kryptonite CHAIN versus the Brute. No surprise then that the Brute won.
But looking at the thickness of the Fahg Mini (18mm) vs the Brute (16.8mm), and assuming both steel samples to be extremely superior, then the Fahg Mini would be the victor. Still, whether 18mm or 16.8mm, both would provide excellent security.
However, the new OnGuard locks look like children's toys, so I feel that some may be kicked/attacked, just to test its strength. Really, I cannot see what they were thinking. It looks ridiculous.
