Unfortunately ebay doesn't work like that. If they've not yet paid the buyer can back out and there's nothing the seller can do to be compensated for loss of interest (from less flaky buyers), money or time.
I found out when nameless forumenger slipped and pressed the Buy button with a frameset I was selling.
Booo.
