Are there any live tickers for keeping track of the day's stage at the volta? Can't get away with streaming it at work, but not found any of those cool live update pages that they do for the tour et al...

When we were watching that live I did worry a team car would swoop around that blind bend and either run over his bike or wipe him out..

Alternatively you can follow the stage on cycling news forum which I sometimes do, however you have the filter out the very biased opinion of some of the posters.

How do you watch 'the race' being on site - I feel excluded from the race watching from the side of the road.

On the telly, in a bar, with mates and lots of noisy locals after a cold ride through the traffic.

Then you pop your head out when the peloton pass.

Movistar have the leader's jersey, so the onus is (was) on them to chase.
Besides, Hesjedal is no threat to the lead in this race.

Unlike Dan Martin who was 9th overall this morning, just 30 seconds back.

I didn't realise Hesjedal had lost so much time. At least Sky will have company chasing it back
