Also I was thinking this after watching Stoke West Brom and what do you know, the Guardian go and write an article about it, they must have a link to my brain or something..
Stoke solidly midtable, but not kicking on, seemingly surpassed by teams that have spent less and play (to my eye) more attractive football, Swansea/West Brom, and are sitting only just above teams like Norwich, Newcastle and West Ham.
They are one of the teams I wouldn't miss if they went down, a bit like Sunderland a team who do enough, but never seem to excite.. Saying that, they'll probably beat us when we play them in the penultimate game...
