The HR/RD looks like a neater version of the Hope V-twin, but with a much longer cable run. I'm failing to get excited about this.
Dont get me wrong, its great news for those wanting mid-range groupsets, and decent disc brakes. Or even to retro fit them to there disc braked cx. In fact I'd probably buy them myself. But for those buying the top end stuff from new (I'm looking at you Dammit). Losing the cables completely, and having hydraulic levers seems far better.
There are inherent disadvantages to both hydraulics and cables. Spyre will pressumbly have both.
