I'd like to simulate the cadence, and power, under stabile conditions. Just to get a feel for it, and see what sort of time I should be aiming for. It'd be tricky to do this outside. For the most part I'll probably do DVDs etc.
As for the adjustability thing. Basically, I really like the idea of using my gears.
