Lidl cheap cycling stuff

It looks like the usual low quality clothing with cheap and nasty accessories. The bike hoist for a fiver and acetone based spray cleaner for £4 are vaguely tempting, and the track pump for a fiver would do to keep in the work bike shed.

I'd hold on for the similar Aldi selection if you need cheap shorts or jerseys for the commute.

Lidl in ireland were doing wireless computers that looked ok for €7 last week. Not sure if they were any use. Wish i'd had a look now. /csb

Will they be doing the bike maintenance stands?

Lidl have bike stuff in again next Thursday, including spoke reflectors and a cheap chain cleaner that's tempting.

Also, the illustration for the 'performance underwear' is kind of amazing....

their spoke reflectors are very effective, provided you can live with the lame style. I'm rocking them on my commuter, they may have made tester gag recently, though he was polite enough not to mention it.

Looks like LIDL has stuff in again - the track pump looks cheap, and people's opinions seem to differ on lidl/aldi clothing but might suit someone?

Lidl have some cycling stuff ATM. Most won't be of interest, but they have a £3.99 Barbieri chain cleaner and a decent £29.99 workstand.

Just picked up a torque wrench from lidl for £16. 25-210Nm, a bit high for most bike applications, but good for installing ultra-torque cranks and the like.

I've one of the aforementioned bike stands going for free if you can come to N10 to collect! (I may be tempted to ride it more central if someone really wants). Its been used and missing a few fittings but still functions fine and is super useful.

Lidl currently have a set digital calipers for £8, and boxes of heat shrink tubing, boxes of rivets, boxes of jubilee clips for £3 each.
