You really should, I actually find my cable pull disc brake to be more powerful than my Ultegra brakeset with koolstop, it's a joy to lightly squeeze the levers from the hood to come to a quick stop on Gipsy Hill for example.
I will defintely miss disc brakes for sure.
CX5 are awesome, worth upgrading from Avid IMHO.
