Best cyclocross bike under £1000 and other CX chat

Looks well nice. 105 speaks for itself, and the FSA stuff is non bling but reliable. The bars are a very nice shape for a cx bike IMHO. The 46/36 chainset is gives nice gearing too.

The Tektro Lyra are about the cheapest cable brakes you can get. I have them on a cargo bike and they work great for me. Its possible they work great with 105 levers too. Worth a shot, otherwise its a cheap upgrade.

Only if they have the green though.

I love the look of this frameset. All the braze-ons, sweet geometry (well in my size at least), stiff, tapered steerer. Looks like the right balance of fun and practicality. As in it sides more on the fun side.

All of this +1 apart from the Green - I quite like the white too.

You could always flog the wheelset and buy some Hopes if you want.
