  • Well, they are taller than tyres of the same width with thinner treads and breakers, but then if you're talking about half a mm then the variation between one company's idea of 23mm and another's is in play. You can reduce the rolling diameter without losing volume by switching to wider rims. B0N0R has already giving the correct solution, but changing your rims too will make your life even better.

    Thanks, I know Bonor's correct - and that's what I've been doing up until now.
    I'll try the contis on the new rims and see if it makes a difference, they might be wide enough to make a difference (though technically they're the same).
