iPhone is dead, in my pocket when I got pushed into a swimming pool. Replacing is not a problem, and thankfully I'm insured.
But,
Is there a way to get my photos off the dead one? It won't power up at all, but presumably the picture data is still on the flash memory inside.
The standard answer from the apple store is that it's not salvageable, but surely there is a way of extracting my holiday snaps. I'm sure they'd be able to do it if I was a terrorist suspect...
Do you not have a phone backup in itunes? When you get the new one assuming you sync'd recently it should ask if you want to restore from backup and set it up the same as the old one with all content intact.
