    If you aren't used to a low bar position, your neck WILL ache, the human head (even empty) weighs about a stone and your neck won't be used to supporting that weight. It will pass once you've ridden like that a few times and your neck has gained strength.

    I was forever raising my road bars before I got used to watching the road at a far closer point, and glancing up to check more distant stuff.

    Heads are fecking heavy.

    Ah, the seta is 73/73.5 with a pretty fat DT.

    For an averge size frame 73/73 is about as standard road geo as you can get. The frame isnt overly stiff, or aggressive. IMHO your position is wrong.
